Community Service
With so much focus given to the sport of hockey, it is just as important that players also have opportunities to build community relations and establish habits of good citizenship and service. Volunteering through a community service project is one way in which players can achieve this goal as well as expand on their sense of pride in themselves and others.

Each year Energy hockey players are given the opportunity to serve the Omaha metro community and Nebraska by sharing their time and talents in team and/or individual service-related opportunities. As the season progresses, links to information about the opportunties each team participates in will be posted below.

Service is viewed as a significant part of the transition to adulthood, and the members of Energy hockey would like the community of Omaha to consider Energy players available, and valuable, human resources.
